Martin Luther King.

His heirs that run the King center for nonviolent social change make 6 figure salaries and what have they done? Nothing. That's one problem with the world in general. Your father struggles and you sit on your ass and collect the benefits.

While its true that I want to help my children all I can, there will be "no sitting on their ass and benefitting ".

I could win the LOTTERY and my kids would still NOT be getting a car on their 16th birthday etc so you can be sure that the bit of money I make won't be going to let them sit on their behinds. I'd give everything to charity first.

They are in charge of the King center in Atlanta, Ga. They earn 6 figures off his legacy at least partially paid by the Government.
Fathers should struggle to set their kids up for success, or even to follow in their footsteps. These men(Dexter and Martin) are simply caretakers. They have no real accomplishments. What's more, they earn the salaries while cutting the staff and poor maintenance and upkeep of the center.

they are making money off his name, they aren't doing any work.

As far as the MLK offspring... yeah, they suck. What can you do? Their father was murdered, and we all know how messed up kids turn out without their parents...

They run the center. They are only activists in the sense that they have probably attended or given speeches. They live and breath off another mans work and contribute nothing to the communitty.

The center contributes something in that over 600,000 people visit it a year, it's a reminder of the past. But it is does not really further MLK's dream of the future. The brother's are not active in furthering MLK's dream. They are responsible as far as is known to make sure the center is open for tourists. They receive 6 figure salaries for this. They are the kings of heirs that end up losing the kingdom.
