And HBO's other old-timey show, Carnivale, is finally going somewhere.

While I LOVE Deadwood, the best show on TV is "Arrested Development". Sorry Guy .

I love both those shows. Arrested Development is probably the best comedy, and you could make a convincing case for best show.

But 24 edges towards the ridiculous a little too often to be the best show. I still watch it religiously.

could they possibley cuss anymore? I have never heard the word cocksucker used that many times.

I doubt women (or men) back in those days even sucked ****.

It really detracts from the show imho. I have trouble believing this is the 19th century.

yeah right. We had this dirty old guy at work. He said back in the 30's and such women didn't even suck ****. Even prostitutes didn't like to do it. Even in tijuana.

I counted one show last season and they said cocksucker 41 times in the show. Even the Chinese guy that spoke no other English new the correct way to use it.

I believe Swearengen said something to the effect of
"yeah you know that that word means don't ya"

Deadwood is great. I'm glad there are new episodes out
