Russia has the Time of Troubles which historically did occur and which does indeed make life very difficult for the Tsar. I dislike playing Prussia because unless Poland takes over danzig then you don't get a CoT there so instead it is better to staqrt with Brandenburg and later become Prussia via the event. That way you get both the CoT and Prussia's great leaders.

Okay I tried downloading the "Paradox on Demand" version of EU2 and the download and install seemed to work fine, however when I try to start the game it lets me log in but when I get an error message and the program shuts down.

I tried following some of the Paradox forum advice and updated drivers, uninstalled the program and reinstalled (twice), but no luck yet

I do get the momentary surge of hope when I have completed the installation that the program may work and for a brief moment I hold my breath in hopes that this time it will............but nothing yet


And now I have it working!!
