	3450 Bc Tired of ads?

3450 BC

• We have received counterproposal from Babylonians. For our:
  
  - Masonry
  - Alphabet
  
  we get:
  
  - Warrior Code
  - Ceremonial Burial
  
  The offer is accepted by Babylonians. As soon as we accept it, the deal completes. I think we take it.
  
• Workers on the flood plains - road (2 turns, done this turn yet, if we want) and then irrigation.
  
• Worker near Tzimisce start mine
  
• Babylonian warrior moved NE as shown. This allows us to wait with southern goody hut.
  
• Our northern warrior move east to the hills.
  
• Southern warrior move north to the mountains, though later corrections might be in order.
  
• Curragh move to that bay, if it is bay. We will get a better view on land there. Maybe we will spot some goody hut near Desolation Row, and pop it up before them? See screenie next post.
  
• I propose also some new road route, as marked in brown. This will possibly connect some new city near the wines there. We should secure that luxury for us as soon as possible. And also this will connect that new city near flood plains north. The route will also not cross any river, what is beneficial before we can construct bridges.

The road plan looks good. We can place three good cities along that road.

As for the trade, I'm not very thrilled with it. They're giving us two cheap techs for two more expensive techs. We need to ask for something else to balance things out ... either extra gold or "considerations" in the next trade.

The warrior paths and curragh path is fine by me.

Ok, it seems there is support for further negotiations, so this turn we pass this offer and contact Babylonians regarding better their part.

Do you mean, they just want:
- Alphabet
for:
- Ceremonial Burial
- Warrior Code

They apparently may have possibility to acquire Masonry the other way. Alphabet must be very valuable for them.

Would it be possible for Babylon to acquire Masonry from Desolation Row? I can't remember what they all had as starter techs...

Otherwise, I'd be more supportive of an alphabet for CB and WC trade.
