Suffering from ads?

I used to wear contacts for a while but they got to be too much. I have dry eyes to begin with and having them in just ended up bugging the hell out of me.

I wear contacts and I love them. LASIK sounds too risky. No thanks.

Tired of ads?

Been wearing soft contacts for over 15 years.

I take them out every night.

Occasionally one rips, like every 3 years, but other than that, it's all good.

It's a Science News story I read several years back, maybe in 1998. The situation may be better now, but I strongly doubt that you can leave contacts in your eyes for more than 12 or 16 hours a day.

My sister and mother both got it and they were fine, but they made sure to get it from a very qualified eye doctor that they trusted.

And get a second opinion from a doctor who won't be doing the surgery.

I work with ALOT of people who have had successful LASIK surgery, but personally I would not do it.

Too expensive (not covered by insurance) and I don't want nobody shooting my eyes with a laser.

I've been told that for my high degree correction prescription it would be impossible to make a bifocal contact for me.

Not if you want to reinforce your retina before it detaches.
