was on the news like 2 weeks ago. i think it's a good thing. better service, still the same # of jobs (different area probably) and perhaps higher pay.

Outsorcing jobs in a McDonald's negates part of the benefit that helps overcome their overall negative impact on an immediate locale--less local jobs.
Expect communities to be more resistant to McDonald's in the future if more local jobs are axed.

I'm just imagining the fun the first time a customer says they will have the kids meal but only if you have the elmo toy-- will the person a million miles away know if they have any elmos left ??
Kinda tough for a manager to assess and manage the order taker-- If they are screwing up you have a peeved off cutomer in Ohio and a manager that probably can't even tell who took the order
