PS: Is the oil slick decision disputable? I think that the crash should only not produce an oil slick if it happens on top of a sand bag. If you crash on clean asphalt, there's nowhere for oil to go. Hence, IMO, there should be an oil slick from this latest crash

I don't understand Jonny's LR immediately one after the other. If it's to waste a move or two before a turn, i get it - but in the middle of the sand? Am I just showing my lack of knowledge here?

A LR (or a RL) allows you to change lanes.

In this case Jonny knew where the sandbags wern't and changed lanes to avoid them.

Does that make any more sense or am I stating the obvious?

Spaced decides it's not in his interest to ram jonny again to avoid oil in the final lap, but jonny uses a WC and hit's Spaced. Quite surpised as the two drivers out think themselves. A great driving duel There is now oil under the A

GJ slams into 4 bags but it only slows him down to 10. But he uses his last WC, so A pit will probably be needed

Tuber, I removed your last M since you had the B there. I assume that's what you meant since one more move would make it impossible to make the turn.

Vovan makes his move on Tuber and it looks successful as he pulls along side but misses him.

Sparrow clawing back into the race, and he shouldn't have to pit so we'll see.

Kassi using the edge of the track to avoid using much needed WC that he'll need later. He's finally getting back up to speed to prep for the alley.

Still plenty of mystery left in this one.

Ha-ha, that is hilarious. After i sent my orders, I thought, "I bet jonny thinks I am going to brake to match his speed. I bet the guy burns a WC to try to out think me and still hits me anyway."

Jonny, here is a clue for you.....okay no clues for you.

Spaced rubs some sand of his rearview mirror and notices the number 4 car coming up from behind real fast.

Yes, I was amused when I saw identical orders. If he hadn't used the wild card he could have set up for the Slip and flown through the turn that you can't do due to only 1 WC left. It will be interesting to see if he pits or not.

IMHO, it would be silly for Jonny not to pit. I think he will come out of this turn ahead, but it is really a close call at the start / finish line. And that's with speed 10. With speed 8, I don't think he can make it around one more time and still keep ahead of Spaced. On the other hand, if he keeps up at the pit exit (I am assuming Spaced will pit for some WCs), I think he can definitely win this one by flying through those nasty hairpins and avoiding the oil slicks more easily.

And what if Spaced doesn't pit? Well, he'll have to slow down to a crawl at those turns and I think Jonny will be able to catch up to him.

at 9, I'd think about it.
at 8, pit.

But it is interesting that the one lurker 8 turns ago declared Jonny the easy winner, and Spaced has caught up with still more than a lap to go. This one has been a good test of powers. I did think the performance package would be closer to the lead, but I don't think Sparrow used enough wildcards. We'll see what happens when he starts to burn them. I assume he won't pit.

Well, I don't know if the numbers would confirm this, and I am too lazy to count right now, but it seems to me like if we consider the other power options and look how much they used their power and WC combined, it would be actually more than Sparrow could afford. Maybe it would make sense to also give performance package more WCs at the pits? Like not every 3 below 10, but say every 2? Then, he'd be more willing to burn his WCs during a lap. Then again, maybe I'm wrong about this and it's just Sparrow being too conservative with the WCs.

One lurker

I still think he'll win easily - he has the wonderful choice between pitting and not pitting, and both could lead to him winning easily; Spaced is still running out of WCs each time, while Jonny uses none unless he feels like going a bit faster (ie at the end). The oils will help Jonny too - if it was an intentional try at a ram, it was very smart imo. Spaced will have a tough time getting in the right position for this curve next time around. Assuming Jonny pits, he can lower his speed to just 5 or so and regain enough max speed for it not to matter. I'm still not convinced he has to pit, although this second accident makes it more likely.
