	XP patch? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

Hi,

it's been a while since i've visited here, but I got a new computer about a year ago, and when I loaded Civ II onto my new computer, something went haywire and crashed my comp. Is there a patch i need for XP to play CivII?

I have played Civ II (2.42, FW and MGE) on my XP machine without any patch. However, that particular machine has not been upgraded to SP2. It's possible that this causes a problem. There are frequent reports of a need to update drivers in order to play. SG and others have posted information about where latest drivers can be found.

that's what it was, missing drivers. do you know where i might find a link for these? or a link to SG's information?

I'm afraid I don't know where the missing drivers might be found. I believe there is a technical forum at the Civ Fanatics site that may be able to help. (forums.civfanatics.com ?)

You may also need autoexec.nt A posting from SG said that his read as follows:

one quick question...when i open the batch file for Nemo's Red Front, it just pops up and dissappears..and I can't select which season to play in. Does anyone know how to fix this?
