Turn thread - 450 AD Full PM-box? Change here!

LL switched their wonder to Great Wall! They would be 2 turns from Sistine Chapel at the moment, so they lost many Shields that way. The war must be tough on them, as many cities were razed and/or abandoned and/or captured this turn.

Northern part

Nothing built this turn.

Due to War Happiness, the Specialist in Joyous Garde can be put back to work. Unfortunately, there is not enough to lower the lux slider.

We got lucky with the Chop near tintagel - it is a Bonus Grassland.

Two Spears can be upgraded, or something small rushed.

Worker actions (proposal):

  • Start a Mine on the BG near Tintagel.
  • Start a Mine north of Joyous Garde, where a Road weas finished last turn.
  • Keep moving the ones in CoD territory south.
  • Dennis and Max (in the south) proceed to do the Road south-west, to reach the Ivory there.
  • Bob proceeds to make a Road directly west of Tuskany, so that the city can be bypassed by our units (while it is still there - CoD agreed to move th city when we ask them to).
  • 2 Workers join Gorge of Eternal Peril.
  • Keep Roading north of Holy Grail.
  • Worker either joins Cat Food, or starts moving south to look for a new job.

We can arrange the citizens to have Castle Anthrax and Dark Forest of Ewing grow next turn, while giving Castle Anthrax and Camelot more production, and slowing down Camelot's growth for a turn.

City builds and citizen allocations (proposal):
  • A Tintagel citizen needs to be moved into the Sea.
  • A camelot citizen takes his place, leaving the Wheat tile.
  • Castle Anthrax takes the Wheat tile and two Hills in city radius.
  • Holy Grail moves one citizen to another Hill, to free a Hill for Dark Forest of Ewing.
  • Dark Forest of Ewing takes both Wines tiles and the two remaining Grasslands it can use and takes the Hill left open by Holy Grail.
  • Question: Do we leave the Joyous Garde Scientist on the road to Monarchy, or do we make him work that (unmined!) Mountain? It reads as a 2-turn difference on the Cathedral.
  • Port Avalon moves its citizen from a Hill into the Sea, to make way for Gorge of Eternal Peril.
  • Since Tim's Peak will be our secondary (?) pump and factoring in the War Happiness, switch the city to a Granary.

P.s. Sorry about the delay in getting the save open.

Southern part

One Settler moving to the site near the Wheat. Should go south-west now and put a city there.

One Settler should go north-west now and put a city there. With a central location (considering only the Grassland area!), this will probably be the FP site?

Another Settler should probably proceed farther north, to put a city there and quasi-join borders with Siege Perilous.

Whale Song is still there, so our big stack can move south.

Barbs showed up. It seems we will have some fun here.

Two Monkey Galleys spotted on the western tip of the Tundra peninsula.

Turn played.

What happened:

  • Workers moved as described above.
  • Workers I did not mention above were simpy moved to the south.
  • Citizens allocated as described above.
  • The Specialist in Joyous Garde put to work on the Mountain.
  • Big offensive stack moved closer to Whale Song.
  • Horsemen scouted around, found a CoD Galley.
  • Barb camp destroyed near Siege Perilous with a Horseman. No promotion.
  • Barb Warrior destroyed near Siege Perilous with a Longbowman. No promotion.
  • Two Settlers put in place for cities.
  • Found only one Spear to upgrade, so moved the one from Sexy Lumberjacks toward the closest Barracks city.

I noticed that Mohammed Al-Sahaf either joined Tabemono against LL, or LL gave a city to the green people, or the green people settled in after cities were razed/abandoned. This is why I asked for Embassies - one in Temple Mount would let us know for sure what is going on on the other side of the ocean.

Turn sent to Monkey.
