Questions about SMAC Fiction Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

First one: Are there any good stories on this board that aren't linked to the Centaurian Tales link?

2. Are there any sites out there besides Apolyton with stories, at all? Fanfiction.net doesn't count.

My favorite Alpha Centauri fan fiction is Joe. Don't let the undescriptive name throw you, it is gold. Beyond Alpha Centauri ran for a long time and may even have gotten a good review once. Have you looked for the various pieces of the Spartan Chronicles? A few of the smaller ones floating around among the debris of the forum are worth your time.

Elsewhere on the internet, fan fiction is a rare bird. Insert shameless plug for Sorcerer's Place where they also have a fan fiction forum (most of the stories are fantasy, and many of those are about the AD&D computer games - Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, etc).
