	Hearts of Iron 1 vs Hearts of Iron 1 Platinum vs Hearts of Iron 2 Inflate your Upload Space

I saw my nearby gaming store had these 3 options:

Paradox 6 Strategy Pack ($20) - Europa Universalis 2, Victoria (both of which I already own), EU2 Asian Chapter 2, Two Thrones, Crown of the North and HOI 1
(all of which I don't have)

Hearts of Iron Platinum ($25)

Hearts of Iron 2 ($50)

Any suggestions what is the best option for me?

EU2 is a fantastic game, IMO Paradox's best.
Victoria is a good game, but amazingly complicated and is a MM nightmare if you don't like that.
EU2: Asian Chapter is basically EU2 with more emphasis on Asia, but not as refined.
Two Thrones is the addon to Crown of the North, a game based on a very old Swedish game, and I'd reccommend you to play Crusader Kings over it any time(CK is another Paradox game).
HoI2 is much, much, much, much, mcuh better than HoI1. HoI1 Platinum is just HoI1 1.06c with a few mods IIUC.

I'd say the 6 pack is worth it for EU2 alone, but it depends on whether you like more war based games better, as HoI2 is then a better choice perhaps.

HoI Platinum is only the most recent Version of HoI (1.03c?)+ CORE I think
(Which you can download anyway)

HoI 2 needs some Patches first (and if they are released, the Game will most likely be cheaper by then, too)

So I say go for the Sixpack.

HoI2 is a great game but very buggy and in need of patching. So far one small patch has been released but we are still waiting for a much larger patch which has been promised. My suggestion is hold off and buy HoI2 once the new patch is released but not before.
