Babylon and Lost Boys have been very silent. I wonder if they have an alliance, they will have met each other before they met us.

I have been thinking we should try and get a non-aggression pact or even an alliance with the Europhoricans, and make The Lost Boys, who trails us by three techs, our first target. They have good land and it shouldn't be *too* corrupt..

Thoughts?

I like the idea of feeling Euphorica out and seeing what the general reaction is.

I'm not so sure. The Lost Boys will have Numidian Mercs - difficult defenders to punch through even with Immortals.

OTOH, Euphorica will only have Spears for some time to come.

Difficult, but I can attest from PTWDGII, Numidians can be overcome with swords (assuming your iron doesn't evaporate just a few turns after being hooked up ), and later with longbows. We'll have the advantage of 4 attack from the start.

The downside is that, from what we know of the Lost Boys terrain, they should be able to produce them at a decent clip. Both of us will have GAs going on pretty quickly, and if we don't have plenty of mines up, their hills, forests and plains will make their GA more fruitful than ours, at least among cities they get to keep.

Euphorica is a more inviting target, as long as we plan on wiping them out before Chivalry, but with our Immortals and the Lost Boys' Numidians running around, my bet is they'll also be more nervous and open to an alliance.
