Se9 Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Well I am on the move again...not quite as dramatic as the last move mind you, just to a bigger place, a 2 bed house, in a much nicer area. I have sold my kidneys to afford this. I may need dialysis for every day from now on but at least I will be in comfort when doing it

Seriously though, I will be moving next Tuesday (although I will be able to get the keys Monday evening). My dad is coming down to help me move. The bonus is that my broadband is being transferred and I am getting my bandwidth doubled at no extra cost. Which is fine by me

And I'm out of Erith, festering sh*thole that this is!

Eltham is/was famously 'dry' as I recall.

Somewhere you might want to visit once you're settled in:

Yeah, Eltham Palace is a fairly quick walk away - I ought to have a look around there when I get the chance.

'Dry'? As in a low level of precipitation, or is there another meaning here?

Thankyou Japher. I already have the keys so I am ready to start moving stuff ASAP. And as an unexpected bonus I have found out I have been paid £750 in holiday pay not used for the time I was under agency contract which has been paid to me Things are working out very well for me

But you know what, despite the fact that before I had this job offer and before I moved down this way I was very reluctant to move down south. Now I am here I don't think I would want to live anywhere else at the moment. Despite the cost, the relative pay to what I received in the north offsets that and then some...being able to afford a house in the north was a dream and not much more and is a reality in the south despite it being much, much more expensive!

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Glad things are falling into place, and that you like where you live

It's funny how things can totally suck one day (no job, no prospects, can't afford life, etc.) and by merely going with the flow, BAM! Everything is fine.

Happy Days

Well, unless parts of south east London slipped off into some separate kind of climate while the rest of London wasn't looking, I was referring to something which would be of immense importance to you-

alcohol, and its availability, naturally.

Anyway, Erith, like Taft and Fresno, is better for the leaving of it.
