In a culture steeped with tradition, old grudges die hard, if they die at all. Ever since the sack of New Constantinople by Siffanese barbarians in the Seventh Year, Basileus Naviwinat vowed to return.
After years of battle and decay, though, his once-mighty fleet was barely half the size of his adversary's. But that was nothing to worry about, for he too could make use of the ultimate weapon: allies.
The combined fleets of Naviwinat, General Ordin, and Zol Ventis, weighing in at over 300 tons, swept down on New Constantinople. It was just like before but in reverse- Polly Siffan was not around, and only three laser titans stood guard over a sprawling empire of fourteen bases.
With their superior numbers, the Emperor's tacticians had wisely chose a straightforward order of battle with no maneuvering. Polly's captains were rapidly lazorgeddoned without a chance to inflict damage or disengage.

Where was Polly? Attacking, of course. This time, the ally was Ken Banobi and the target was Agathari, who the two called the Giant Squid.
Torpedoes were loaded in preparation for what was predicted to be a pushover. What happaned instead was a clear example of Murphy's Law, as the fleet rammed a shield.
Polly's vanguard of fifteen newly built torpedo frigates were the first to fry. Next up were Banobi's torpedo cruisers, of which 11 were destroyed and a 12th heavily damaged.
In the end though, it was Polly who took the heavier casualties, as without homebases, another 23 tons of shipping had to be scrapped. 17 brand-new laser frigates were disassembled for parts, as well as an old fighterbattleship and a torpedobattleship.
