Yay for me! Because of all the corporate financial scandals Congress passed the Sarbanes-Oxley Act which requires more accounting work. Accounting is one of the hottest job markets out there. I've got one more year to go!

This is interesting although possibly unjust and dangerous, because the financial scandals were the result of illegal orders given to accountants who made sharp and clever illegal entries. With more accountants paid higher salaries, you increase the risk of financial scandals.

Accounting vocations should therefore be deeply investigated, even when displayed by commies.

I confirm that Commie should be suspected less than others to have an accounting vocation. The reason is that accounting is a technique offering almost no room to ideology, which means that accountants are only interested in facts. And we all know that Commies dont bother in collecting facts, but are mainly interested in the description of "lendemains qui chantent".

They aren't smart and aren't clever. It strikes me that many of the fraudsters employ little more than fly-tipping mentality.

Some of them are seem dumb actually. For example, Sunbeam recording an increase in sales revenue of BBQ grills in the 4th quarter. Did they think no one would wonder about that?

I agree with that, but I meant that they are clever enough for deceiving the financial analysts who are likely the most stupid or the most dishonest of all the financial profession.

That just have self-interest like most other people in the profession.

Its the same with auditors or financial advisors. They are supposedly independent, but if they give a bad audit review the directors could change the auditors, and IFA's are given commissions to sell certain products regardless of appropriateness or best value to clients.
