	Looking for default.zip from faq-tool Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Hi there,

I am some kind of desperately looking for the "default.zip" from the faq-tool. This zip has (should have?) all the ACAX-gfx as templates in it.
As far as I know it is/was part of the faq-tool from http://www.crosswinds.net/~smaccf , but as most of us know has this site gone offline long ago... . And in all the archives to find for downloading the faq-tool is the defaut.zip missing.

Well... not really. This is the faq-tool.zip that can be found in the net, but it is missing the default.zip, too.
Inside ths faq-tool.zip you can find a default.gif showing what you can find in the default.zip. Furthermore it says (on "Graphics Overview"):

quote: In any case, all we can do to help you on your way is to make the city walls a bit more simple, offer a default FACTION.PCX, and blank FACTION2.PCX, and FACTION3.PCX files.

But the faction.pcx is the only file included (in faq-tool.zip), and this one is the only one where things are easily replaced in or to work with.
The other two PCXs are harder to work with as there is some kind of background that might "shine through".
And - of course - the GFX with the city walls could make life much easier...
All these other PCXs/GFXs are missing in all the faq-tool.zips I've found so far , and they are what I am actually looking for...

Walls.gif is inside that file, which is the empty city wall pics.
You could try and copy what's meant to be faction2 and faction3.pcx from the default.gif.

I just found the above zip while cleaning out my harddrive, thought you might want to take a look anyway.

The networknode has the templates, albeit in jpeg format (the psd format ones are broken, but the psd format files with the empty wall templates opens fine.)

GREAT! Thanks... now I got everything I need
I just hope there won't be too much trouble with the indexed palette (converting from jpg to pcx etc.).
And: no Photoshop here... just Gimp . So I'm not too sad about the broken PSDs.
I don't know why I didn't look at networknode.org... .
