Elton Brand is one of my favorite players.

I feel bad for the Clippers because they always have alot of great players that just get mismanaged.

I used to be a diehard Lakers fan. Now, I can't watch them anymore. If only I were a billionaire and could buy the Lakers from Jerry Buss.....

If Jerry West had stayed, he probably would have traded Kobe for Tracy Mcgrady straight up 2 years ago.

Regarding Shaq...

Dumb move, profoundly dumb move. I like Shaq a lot. He's arrogant, but at least he has a sense of humor about it, and he genuinely appears to enjoy himself when he plays the game.

I still think Miami will lose to my Pistons in the playoffs, but if they don't, I'll definitely be pulling for them to win the title. (Unless they play the Spurs... then, it'll be a toss-up.)

T Mac is a far better guard than Kobe is and he was available recently.

The Lakers could have kept winning championships with someone else at the #2 option other than Kobe.

T Mac is a good pick or LaBron James. They just need one more scorer or a big forward and they could have kept going. Karl Malone should have been that man but he got hurt. Gary Payton caused more harm than good.

I think shaq is mellowing in his old age. He used to be a *****. Most folks in sa didnt care for him to much after he dissed the city and talked bad bout david robinson. After all he did play hi school ball here at cole. My ex husband played against him in hi school said he was a good ****ing player then.

Well, Kobe has wanted to prove all along the he CAN carry the team. So that's the whole point. He wanted to be the reason the Lakers were winners and thought he was better than Shaq, and now we see that isn't the case.

The Lakers have a lineup that is full of very good players:

Caron Butler, Chris Mihm, Brian Grant, and especially Lamar Odom are all solid players.

solid but not great. Kobe is kinda in the same postion dan marino was in most of his career. would you call dan ****? Dan never had a team behind him. the lakerss were more great with kobe and shaq and horry but they are all gone and he has basicly not much.

My point is this is kobes first year with out shaq could be all in all the guys are getting used to each other. Shaq is a good player sucks at free throws but a good player, but in all honesty the two play different positions and they are both good at their positions. Me thinks LA get a good center to back kobe up they will do fine

Marino wasn't a punk who chased a Hall of Famer out of town. Kobe thought he could win a championship by himself, and hated sharing the spotlight with Kobe. Marino was a victim of circumstance.

i know you meant sHAQ at the 2nd kobe, truth be known kobe has a longer chance at playing then shaq
shaq is older. its to bad the two didnt get along. Marino had the chances to go else were so his circumstances were due to bone head choices by owners and himself
