Sleepwalking Increase Your PM Length

Apparently last night I got up and startd walking around my house whilst asleep... I was wondering why my door was ajar when I got up! I really hope that in my unconsciousness I remembered to put on my dressing gown though, as one of my housemate's told me what I was up to, and I don't think he deserves to see my, ahem, scuplted form

Anyone else ever sleepwalk? Or know why we might do it..?

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Occasionally. I had a bizarre one when I went on holiday in a rented house at 18.

After 4 nights of heavy drinking, I was too knackered to party on so I had an early night. That night, one of the girls brought all the bar staff back for a party. I slept right through it.

However, the next night all the bar staff were addressing me by name. It turns out I'd joined in the party- I just hadn't woken up. They said my conversations were a bit weird.

Suffering from ads?

I think what you experienced is more properly labelled a blackout. It's time to chek into detox.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Hardly. I hadn't drunk in over 24 hours. In any event, detox would be of little value seeing as it was 16 years ago.

The best is when you wake up in your bed the next morning having no recollection whatsoever of how you managed to get home the night before

It'a a very strong indicator of alcoholism.

Have you ever cut down on your drinking?

Have you ever been annoyed by other people's criticism of your drinking?

Have you ever felt guilty about your drinking or something you've done under the influence of alcohol?

Have you ever needed a drink as an "eye-opener" in the morninjg?

b) No. The only criticism I get is when I don't drink enough

c) Felt guilty about falling asleep at a girl's house one time

Blackouts happen to a lot of people, AFAIK. You always hear that they're an indicator of alcoholism, but by that definition most of the people I know are alcoholics.

I think the line is when you go from having a rational enjoyment of drinking to when you have an irrational need to drink.

You may know more alcoholics than you think.

You scored 2/4 on the CAGE test. that raises the probability of your being an alcoholic to about 70%.

Put an end to popups!

Pffft.

I drink heavily about twice a month and have a couple-three drinks once a week.

Silly physicians always think they know everything.

But you should probably add in that my father's family really does have a bunch of alcoholics in it. Family history...

You said that you haven't tried to cut down on your drinking "when [you] can avoid it", which implies that yopur drinking is heavy enough that there are occassions when you have to curtail your drinking due to societal demands or the need for functionality.

You said that you have felt guilty about the consequences of your drinking.

Actually, the only times I ever deliberately curtailed my drinking were when I didn't have enough money to buy booze.

Then again I also had to deliberately curtail my eating around the same time. Damn I was poor. Lost 15 lbs, and I had only weighed 155 to start.
