(alphabetical order)

Rules:

No Agricultural civs, but you can otherwise pick. First come first serve...

Slots/play order? I have often gone before jshelr, and we can usual play both our turns swiftly, especially on a weekday, before others based in American (or should say Canadian?) timezones finish work.

map settings? Random map or mapmaker?

Anything else? Iron civers ettiquette?

Nice name, I guess.

Players: Only four!?

Order: I can often play my turns during the day so it would be best if I were after Krill.

Starts: Random map is fine if everyone is fine with possibilities this entails. One restart for truly horrible starts is in order, with one caveat: you have to show your start to everyone else, and they vote on whether it's "bad enough." If we're all honest with ourselves and each other this should work well.

Settings: Tiny Pangea please. Ideally we could find a fifth player (better diplomacy/geopolitics). Everything else standard. I would be up for a silent PBEM if you guys are.

Civ: Babylonians (in honor of Arrian, who has been away for a while).

Etiquette: Iron Civver is good. Combat reports would be nice.

Most days between 9 AM and 11 PM GMT. The early mornings and late evenings are most Civ-intensive.

As (it seems that) there are going to be five people, what about making it either a [small 70% water] or a [Tiny 60%], so that there is the chance to expand? I like thee restaart idea, but I'm not sure about the caveat. Lets wait to see what the others have to say...

(oh, and I'll pick last w/regard to civs.)
