If you know what is time cube, vote now!
If not, see here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_cube
and here:
http://www.timecube.com/
Reason I am wondering is because I am currently at Georgia Tech and Gene Ray, the dude that came up with this Time Cube thing, is coming in to give a lecture. I want to go and see what's up.
Now. All of the people I ever saw think the guy is nuts. (And so do I, preliminary, until I see him speak and ask him questions.) But there are rumours going on about people who genuinely honestly think he's right. I want to see some of those and hear their reasons. (Something other than "It's so crazy, it's gotta be true")
Discuss.
EDIT: Also, is anybody else planning to go to the lecture by any chance?

Vovan, if Im not mistaken, this is not the first time you bring the TimeCube up. I just reread it in Wikipedia, and I dont see how anyone can argue about it being true...
What would it mean for it to be truth, it does not really claim anything thats is verifiable, and not predicted by normal common sense...?

Nope. Actually at a normal lecture hall.

If it's not I must have memory problems, because I don't recall ever posting about it. On the second thought I may have posted about it about a year ago and not remember about it, because last year the guy that invited this Time Cube dude over for the 'lecture' talked about Time Cube all the time. But like I said, if I brought this up already, sorry.

See, neither can I. That's why it astonishes me that there are people who believe this guy. How do I know there are such people? I heard of them. And that's why I decided to post here, to see if maybe any of them are here at Apolyton.

Yup, this dude clearly is a racist. And a sexist. And a homophobe. And he hates corporations. And he thinks the government is out to get him.

Well, I'll play devil's advocate for a moment here, but according to this dude if you don't go through the four corners of the cube it doesn't actually mean you aren't a person, but it just means you are a mistake of nature. Now whether or not Newton was a mistake of nature, I won't argue, 'cause I don't know. But hey, I'll maybe ask him that.

How is this guy talking at university? |
I've no clue whatsoever. That is what baffles me. He is crazy and prejudiced, and yet he talks at universities (he lectured at MIT a little while back) and gathers huge crowds. (Well, not *huge* I guess, but several hundred of people, which is still pretty amazing.)

The last scientific attempt at racism in the 1970s claimed that there were three races. I don't particularly see a point in increasing the number to four by splitting Indians from the rest of whites.
But, really, race is bunk. It's just a bunch of arbitrary groupings that are nonsensical from a genetic point of view. Numerology is also bunk.
