lol u must be houdidni i couldnt find an exit and believe me i was looking. At least for a place to smoke dammit that airport sucked. course i found a bar and i could smoke so i was made happy.

It's not so bad. It's the largest city in Arizona. But it has alot of old people. So you aren't going to find much night life or culture you would in other big cities. But you'd think they had to have some sort of night life.

Phoenix is an awesome city.

It's cheap, clean, and warm. The Arizona desert is the best desert, much more dynamic than our boring Cali deserts.

People there are also generally nice, except for those moron Minutemen in southern Arizona, patrolling the Mexican border.

10 years ago, 2/3 of my family moved to Phoenix from NJ.. I've been out there to visit almost every year since then. Just some quick advice:

Take water with you everywhere you go and sip on it. It is very easy to get dehydrated because of the heat and the dryness and dehydration can sneak up on you easily so beware.

Drivers are crazy out there. It is a densely populated city and the roads are laid out in an almost perfect grid. I think the grid layout of the streets can make you less vigilant because you can drive for hours and everything looks the same (strip mall after strip mall - lots of intersections). They use cameras at the intersections to catch moving violations so be careful... There is no mass transit in Phoenix.

Plenty of good hiking and mountain biking just outside the city. Tempe is a good place to hang out because it is a college town...

According to the article, you should drink after you urinate, whether or not you are thirsty..

that's not the way I read it. It said if you urinate, that means your body has excess water. Therefore you don't need to drink.
