The phone rang alot. We have a new # and the previous holder of this # was a chick named Christie who is very popular. I explain to people that it's not her # anymore and ten minutes later the same person will call back, like I made the whole thing up! With one, the phone will ring, I'll pick it up and an electronic voice will inform me I'm on hold! It says I have an 'important call coming in, please hold'. After a minute or two of this a girl will come on and ask for Christie!

I'm thinking of laying on my most feminine voice and seeing what they all want.

I read some recent article that said you Germans had the worst problem with alcohol in all of Europe, far surpassing the British.

Germans seem more likely to be "nice" drinkers, where the first image I get of Brits are those belligerent football rioters.

What's your opinion?

yeah, we tend to be nice drinkers, but it's more complicated that that.

us Germans have the worst problems? that includes all those east german unemployed ones. they were my neighbours for all of my life

so it's 2 sides of one coin. on one side you have nice drinkers, like me and then, east german hartz iv people. thoseare the ones which make for the big amount of people with alcohol problems. they have been unemployed for liek 5 years or so. go fig.
