At my school, College of Business had the most hotties, followed by the College of Ed with Dept of Psych running at 3rd. But I really liked the Science Dept just because...ok...whatever, that part of my life is over.

Probably seeing someone else now, good riddance to bad garbage.

I know. The jokes on Ramo - he's fighting for more study space, while those people who are studying to be Ramo's future bosses are fighting for a school schedule that conforms to their drinking habits. And knowing management theory, I bet they got it by working the system, not fighting it.

Now that is Democracy in action.

Didn't you go to U. of HI? Isn't that synonomous with hotties?

That's the only civilized thing to do. We didn't have classes on Fridays at UofT either (well, second years' didn't, there were plenty of Friday classes in first year).

When I was in law school at UT, a gorup of us premature curmudgeons at the law school becasme disgusted at the student goverment and the increasing salaries they were paying themselves (it had been dominated for years by the Arts and Sausages Party, with only small opposition from the UFP party). A select Committee to Retire Aspiring Politicos was formed, and put through in recored time a petition to force a referendum on abolishing student goverment. Damn it was fine seeeing the faces of the candidate being elected to the positions that were simultaneous being ablolished the referendum. They brought Student government back a few years later with better controls on waisting money of crap that did not reasonably benefit the student population.

Yay Ramo! I know our administration pulled a few bone-headed moves when I was an undergraduate without consulting the faculty, the students, or anyone. You have to bug 'em even over trivial things, because otherwise they start saying "Oh, the students aren't interested anyway, so rather than waste our time with meetings that no one shows up to, we'll just do whatever." Of course, sometimes they say that anyway when the reason no one showed up was because there was no meeting and you told no one, but details.

Not that a lounge is trivial, natch. Don't they have sofas or some other set-up around the classroom areas & near the offices, though? You'd think that could pass for a lounge pretty well, and it it's near the right classrooms, you don't have to worry about heathen other-departmenters approaching.
