No backyard. Not even a back door. The concepts of back doors and backyards didn't exist in the 15th century. We have a front courtyard.

It's very sleepy and very quiet. But this arvo we heard our first neighbourhood dispute. People across the street going at the people next door to us. Wish my Italian was good enough to understand what it was about. Lots of shouting and fist-shaking. Husbands and wives all in together. Only in Italy.

It appears that Ant is being coached on the sidelines by Horse 'Attack Trev, Attack Trev' is the cry he has heard and acted on. But I have learnt and am not so defenseless this time. A few early losses due to the surprise of the attack, but my civ has expanded from 24 cities to 35 cities despite the early loss of 4 cities.
Despite the relentless assault my civ is progressing nicely and increasing its economic, technological and military strength steadily. The surprises assault will not cost me victory this time, and all atackers in future should note that I never make peace with those who attack me, NEVER

You forgot the evil laugh (muhahaha) I guess you don't like the wool carpet being pulled over your eyes. And with all due respect to the D man, he didn't ask me to attack, I was feeling bored, and those two cities I CAPTURED and the three I razed to the ground, are enough to keep me amused....

Great 3 way guys.

It seems atomant made some straight forward strategic decisions by capturing Trev's cities (mostly tribes I think?) that were within Ant's geographic borders.

It'll be interesting to see how this pans out. As it is Trev has a huge lead and The fair-minded Deitians watch keenly...
