Sorry about last night, chaps. My cable connection went down. Couldn't reconnect. Couldn't work out why. Discovered that BigPond had shut down the account 24 hours early! It was supposed to be midnight tonight. They did it at midnight last night! Anyway, I'll be updating Civ on this laptop to include all the recent game saves, so I'll have them with me over there. I'm posting this using an Global Roaming dial-up system that I've set up as an interim internet connection over there until I establish something cheaper and longer term. It costs the earth, so I'll nick off now.

Rules should be discussed. I think since Horse has the no unit bribe we should each have a rule.

Also, the next map we set up is gonna be by me. My hosting is good now.

Horses maps tend to favour his strats with lots of mtns, hills, swamp etc. Also no unit bribe favours his strats

Trev, do you have a rule you want?

Mine would perhaps be to limit spies abilities or to cost more. Diplos are OK though.

It's the previous best naval battle I had. I was staving off the attacks from Markus whilst Dangime attacked my rear in a no alliance game!

I had Magellans and filled the seas with subs which basically saved me...
