Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

how can we know without a map in the thread?

Is it to late to switch settler builds to something else?

I think all our cities are better growing at this point than founding any cities.

I take it that Demeter is going to be an eternal worker pump?

I would also suggest that Gaia's Rise becomes an eternal worker pump.

Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

there are 3 city sites left.

Light blue, or the tip of the land by the galley in the pic.

The 2nd city on the big island

the open area between Helios and Sidros Lofos, on the coast.

That is it for founding new cities. We need the unit supprot these cities will generate, and we will need their gold and research. Found whichever is closest and fastest to get to. Once these 3 cities are founded, no more settlers will be produced, and we will go into our internal growth cycle full bore.

We will eventually have 1+ worker per city. If the game continues past Railroads, we will add the workers back into the cities. It is not anticipated to last longer then the next 40 turns though.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

having a size 7 city produce a settler has a net affect of reducing # of allowed units.

size 7 city : 3 free units
Size 5 city + size 1 city : 2 free units

Tired of ads?

currently we are making +140 gold pre turn. It is not a big problem to pay 2 gold more. But if the game didn't end as we are expecting the extra cities will pay off
