	Ankh-Morpork is attacked Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

Ankh-Morpork is under attack by BOH. Not much we could do about it, and this gives us a border with only BOH in our west in the future anyway.

I believe we should stand aside. Not get involved, but not stand in either side's way either.

We'll grab the land they leave for us. At the same time, we should be careful not to become the next victims.

Why is BOH attacking Morpork, anyway? They are quite far away from them and there's a whole lotta mountains in between.

Stay neutral for now [we have better things to do than attack Ankh-Morpork and also can't realisticly attack BOH], but if it appears that Ankh-Morpork is doomed, it wouldn't hurt to ask Ankh-Morpork to kindly gift us their eastern most city with the horses. (To keep it out of BOH hands)

Agreed. Though I'm not so worried about them attacking as I am about the Lost Boys; with the Morporkians distracted the LB are really the only ones I could imagine attacking us (if anyone wants to attack Bowmen, that is )

I'm not quite sure myself. I imagine it's a congruence of things...

1) They seem to have bad blood with Morpork from early encounters. Not a reason in and of itself, but something to make it sweeter
2) They want to attack someone to gain slaves and future expansion land (Morpork is a neighbor even though they aren't that close)
3) They happened to have enough warriors in the area to consider pulling something. I notice they haven't used any 20-shield or 30-shield units yet in their battles; we have no reason to believe they want to actually conquer Morpork at this time. They may well just be aiming to choke and cripple.

I concur with standing on the sidelines and watching. It is consistent with our new friendship with BOH. Paddy and crowd are looking for a summit chat this weekend. I figure we will learn more then.

As to the Lost Boys, I am not too concerned. I still say we should work on a friendship with them - bringing to their attention the potential threat of Immortals from the east. And as has been stated, our bowman give us early security - but I would hate to trigger our GA.
