	Paddy's Desolation Row Map Full PM-box? Change here!

All I could find on the subject of DG rules on sharing maps is this. Although no concluding post was made, the majority at the time seems to have been Map Making, a tech that has not been distributed around map.

Does the map that Paddy sent out break the rules?

They were of the view that map making was making the rounds this turn anyway - so no harm. It was within the spirit and intent of the rules - and saved us having to reschedule another chat mid week.

I was uneasy about it - but went along with their position. Now I'm feeling like maybe I should not have.

McMeadows has sent a second map which I will not open until we see how we feel about this.

Sorry about this Kloreep et al. I should have gone with my gut instinct which was to say no. And to be honest - the map did not tell us anything other than DR is roughly where we expecte them to be. I have not looked at it much more detail than that. And there was no detailed military planning done from our end on the basis of the map.

I didn't realize that we already had a deal for map making. Considering that I don't think this was is a major problem. It would have been proper to wait for us to receive MM in-game, but those few turns likely wouldn't have made a difference, and since they don't tell us much anyway...

If Paddy's has Map Making already, then it was within the rules.
But if Paddy's didn't have Map making, it was a technical violation.

But as long as we don't do something like send our own map in response until Paddy has it, then there's no need to bring this up. (Why prosecute a team for violating a rule if it causes no harm to anyone but the team violating it.)

And BTW, in game map trading isn't adviable until Navigation.

They do. That is correct - I forgot about this. It works with one of the teams having Map making. In fact, both Euphorica and Horde have MM. Thanks Jon.

Agreed - but there was agreement before the game started that out-of-game map trading was OK with map making.

I have it - but I'm not looking at it or distributing it until we get map making this turn. Just to ease my sense of guilt.kj imjkkkkk <----- this typed by Annie who just went across the key board.

Although as Jon points out, if BOH has map making, which they do, then it is within the rules.
