Discovery channel is doing a show on it, looks really wierd. People bursting into flames!

I remember reading about a few cases of this in para-something-or-other books. It's supposed to be very rare.

Personally, I think it's just a case of someone trying to light a f@rt and having it go very, very bad.

Of course pouring gasoline on myself and playing with a lighter might have had something to do with it.

One lady started burning and went out. She was in the passenger seat of a vehicle with 2 witnesses. Burns all over her thigh.

I've read about this several times, where some person standing goes up in flame, but he only burns a little of the floor he's standing on... nothing else goes into flames

DOn't know about female.
Overweight people have more fat (fuel for the fire)
So an alcoholic fat lady sets in her chair, lits up a cig, gets soused, and drops the cig in her lap. Doesn't wake up or is too ****-faced to help herself when she wakes, and maybe stuck in chair, and slowly burns to death as body fat keeps flames alive.

btw there are almost always no witnesses. Ones with witnesses I question the veracity.

I've heard anectdotes about this happening during surgery when cautery was used for some reason durign abdominal surgery. I don't know if the reports are true though.
