The Phils is really cheap and we have money coming in monthly from the paper we hold on the sale of our house. Plus, we have $5000 more than we thought we had. $4000 I saved to pay the large tax bill that didn't come plus $1200 in pension benefit check from my last job that I didn't know existed. Actually there was also over $400 in a vacation pay check from same.

My parents have been living in Shawnee for over a decade, and every time I visit, the urge to stay on just kept getting stronger. Meanwhile, conditions where I work were starting to slide, as were conditions where I was living (went from no mice two years ago to overrun with mice).

I decided to make a fresh start in October,and finished the move last week.

Now, on to the job search!
