	Should we refound the Apolyton region? Support Apolyton

After the latest round of invader nonsense, Basus has suggested that we close down the region and restart it with a founder.

This would stop invaders from causing any trouble, but it might be a bit of a pain, and some nations (especially the less active ones) might be lost in the shuffle.

Please post after voting so we can confirm the votes, and to add your opinion.

I'm in favour of re founding the nation. It will allow us to stay independent !

If all members get a private mail they can find apolyton back.

Why would a new region stop invaders?

ah never mind- just saw the nationstate site- congrats Jonchastastan on getting reelected.

I gave my reason for rejecting reestablishment on the site- I think that being able to say that we predate the FOUNDER policy gives our nation legitimacy! since it's old! and thereby respectable.

huh...my vote remains the same. But I support any 'Apolyton' people. And yes, I'm thankful that the 'DEN' are out. I'd say auto-boot anyone that comes to our region without proper clearance.

Yes I think a refounding would be nice. I know it gets rather annoying to deal with all of the invaders.

As I understand it... the delegate password protects the region, and everybody leaves. Inactive nations are booted or left to expire on their own. When no nations are left in the region, it is deleted on the next update and a new region can be made with the same name.

The only potential problems come if several nations refuse to leave (if they are booted they can complain that it is griefing), or if someone else beats us to founding the new region (region names are first come, first served).

We can set up a back-up region (or use one of several that individual Polytubbies have set up) to park in while the region empties out.

I'd have to put my vote on no. Seems too troublesome, makes us lose our prestige, and there's little to be gained in the long run that we can't get from simply password protecting the region.

Well...Either/Or...

Just let us "true" Apolytoners know whether or not you found a new region...despite my vote or not...I do not care.

My main point is that I don't want our region falling under someone that has no affiliation with Apolyton whatsoever...or its related sites...

All I want is my own little area for 'personal expansion' and I'll be happy...
