Ah, ah, please don't. I don't think that Quebec is any better. You probably have silly little private houses, as well. ( But it's canada, so it's far more forgivable, although it does create a traffic problem in the long run )

My parents house has 2 full bathrooms as well (and 1 half bathroom downstairs). Though no sharing rooms. One bathroom in the master bedroom, and then one bathroom for the 3 other bedrooms upstairs.

You said most kids under 18 "lived like this," i.e. had their own bathrooms separate from their parents.

I guarantee you, most kids in the U.S. live in residences with only one bathroom that they share with their parents. They're called apartments.
