If theres enough itrest in the game, you might want to consider having back up players who'll play in someone's stead if they are unable to attend that week.



I don't have the time to devote to another multiplayer game this month, otherwise I'd be in aswell.

Yes playing a far away country with no fog of war is similar to being observator. Although I can it can increase lag and instability, don't know how much of a problem that is.

I'd suggest normal aggression, very hard difficulty, annual autosave, and 2:1 speed outside of wars which can be played at 1:1 or 1:2. Pausing ok, so long as not abused - I know I'll have to pause a few times right away as Friesland has a war at the beginning of the game

This means you, Portugal, Spain, France and England...

The game will probably center around Eastern/Central Europe, which is not a bad thing imho.

Venice may have to turn west to Italy rather than the city of man's desire.

Sweden would have a clear opportunity to pursue a colonial strategy with AI majors.

Muscovy will face Austria, Sweden, and the OE at its expansive borders.

the OE has to deal with assumedly powerful Austria and Venice...

and lowly Friesland will cling to the fringes of the Austrian empire

I can't host since my router has a built in fire wall. Also I'm debating moving to France but I'm afraid with a French and Austrian player our Dutch Friend will die to soon.

It sort of works to have everyone in the east the way it is now, I think... but we'd have to see how it plays out.

I can host this weekend. However, I understand bandwidth is important for hosting this game, because of the way the game's networking works - the host should really be the person with the best connection and most central location. I'm in central NA telecom wise, and I get about 600kbps up and 200kbps down in real speeds, if anyone has a better setup than that and will be there for sure then they should host. Chegitz?
