Laser obsessive is too uber. I refuse to deal with LML-MLT OOBs. That's just ****ing ridiculous.

We need to reduce one-weapon-dependency, not increase it.

I need a better name for "Long Ranged Weapons" that would fit the flavour of the other traits.

Also, I'm open to trait suggestions. Anyone think any are too weak/powerful. Any that make insane combinations? Any new ideas?

Here is my suggestion:

The next GO uses Golden Rules only. On the side, we have another game going on that tests the traits. Perhaps we could cap it at ten players, and run two games. One with assigned traits to each character, and another that you can pick traits. Then we can decide which one is better.

If you cut laser obsessive, you should cut Long-range specialist as well.


The two together are pretty balanced, but if you only keep one, it throws off the balance.

Fourth weapon: Mortar. Or some space equivalent.

Back Off: Mortar x2
Close in: Mortar x0.5

That should nicely limit Laser (being the precise opposite)...
