I think we don't need more than one game to test the traits. I'm in for old-school GO.

I suppose I'd play either game or both, although I think I dislike traits. But it might just be my reactionary tendencies

I'd also be willing to GM one of the games if there is a need. (But not both. I want to play GO too. )

Another thing to consider - we can always do Trait GO at l'event. Perhaps consider GO @ eventis to be the 'testing ground'?

I'm happy to play with traits or with the stright GO Gold rules.

If we use traits then I think having the GM assign traits to each character and letting us pick from a list will work well.

Clarification:

GO9 will be played with the GO Gold Rules that are basically those agreed and approved on by the majority, i.e. no D orders, rapid attrition, allied defence. I think we should ask Smiley if he wants to GM again, and how many players he accepts as a maximum.

Traits will be experienced in the next game of GO on Eventis where we will see how they work out. Players who have missed out on a place in GO9 will have priority for places in this game, but there should be enough room for most people to be involved in both games if they wish. I think Snoops is going to GM that one.
