Where do you stand politically, on the loony side or the slightly less loony side?

And don't give me any of this "I'm a social liberal & fiscal moderate + sexual authoritarian", etc. None of this centre-nonsense either. Or, "in the US I'm a liberal, but on Fiji I'd be hanged from a lamp post instantaneously."

Overall, do you consider yourself to be right or left of centre in your country's political landscape.

Sadly for this poll, i'm probably dead centre more than left or right.
I have some left social leanings(like ensureing the rich citizens put in a bit more to help the poorest) and also some right law+order leanings(like i think we should be allowed to kill burglars/inturders of your home).

Overall Liberal(libertarian)/centre/true democratic.

I'm no commie nor neither a fascist, if this is what the poll is asking?

Pretty much- disaffected Labour members formed the S.D.P., which also joined with the Liberals to form the Lib-Dems. On social issues they became more 'soft' than Labourites like anti-gay Blunkett, or pro-hunting Hoey.


It was a Liberal that first suggested comprehensive socialized health care schemes in the U.K. by the way, though it fell to a Labour government to implement them.

Evenn today, the British Labour Party is still a relatively broad 'church'- it has to be to simultaneously accommodate the likes of Big Brother Blunkett and less socially doctrinaire members.
