Has anyone ever played a MP game with someone on a Mac? I couldn't get them to connect. Neither of us have firewalls up, but when I tried the TCP option it just said that it couldn't connect. He has the v1.5 running, I'm on 4.0. Is this a problem? If so, where can I get a patch the equivalent of 1.5 for windows?

I would try the XP compatibility patch, too.

Thanks for the fast replies!
When I tried the XP compatability patch it did really bad things to my sound- the sound fx were quiet, and the speech was pretty much silent. I tried readjusting the mix in the audio/video area, but it didn't help.
It also didn't help us connect. I thought the XP patch was to help the game run in XP, but its also to help connect to Macs running SMAC?

One more question, too. Does anyone know of any SMAC forums with a lot of Mac users? I tried googling the hell out of it, but didn't see any.
Still can't play multiplayer with macs- any help would still be appreciated.
