The Apolyton Motion Picture Discussion Group - June Nominations Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Might as well get this thing going as promised.

Same rules as the sci-fi group. Nominate a movie you've already seen. We'll vote on the noms and discuss the film selected.

A couple of new rules, given we're talking about a different medium:

1. You can only nominate films that have been released worldwide on DVD/VHS.
2. No spoiler boxes. If you don't want to know what "Rosebud" means, don't read the thread.
3. If there are sequels, then the sequels are also under discussion.

Since I wanna get some participation going, I'm just gonna bite the bullet and nominate the LOTR trilogy.

yes i know...but i like up to date movies usually ...this movie/mini series will convince everyone that atom bombs should be dismantles as soon as possible...that is the best thing about it...it shows (IMHO) what will happen after WWIII

It is indeed a quality film; Lucas picked a good one to rip off for Star Wars. I wanted to rent it the other day, but the Kurosawa DVD collection at the local rental place doesn't have any English subtitles...

We're talking about movies, not TV shows. Movies.

Please indicate which film you're nominating by supplying an IMDB link. While you don't "need" to when nominating an obvious title like Life of Brian, it is still helpful.
