	How did I lose? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

I have been playing master of orion, and I have lost, but I don't understand why. Suddenly, the news network comes up and tells me that I was killed. Then it shows a video of me in a coffin or something being carried away. What the hell just happened?

How could the AI kill my systems without a battle or anything? There was no battle. The news network just came up and says that I was killed. Then a video shows me being carried away in a coffin. That's all it is. Am I the first one to have this happen?

No, I reloaded the game, did things differently, and I was able to keep playing. I've since overwrote the save.

I'm also not seeing anything about a high council forming. I'm pretty sure that 2/3 of the planets are colonized. Is my copy of the game just messed up or something?

I doubt that is the issue as I have not seen any bugs like that reported. I know there is an assasination event, I have seen AI leaders die from, but not me.

What is copy-code? It recently happened to me for the third time. It said that all my colonies were destroyed and had the Genocide symbol on the news screen. There were no battles at all.

First, an alien race tells me that they are going to war with me. Then I have to pick the name of some ship designs. Next thing I know the game is telling me that all my colonies have been destroyed. Isn't that crazy?

The copy-code is the name for ship designs. If you ever bought the game you got a list of the names and pictures. As the game is rather old, I can send you a nice gif of those if you pm your mail-address.

That makes sense, never had that happen, but it sounds right.

Falconoffury the game comes up after each time you start it at some point and asked for a code. The code is the name of a ship.

It tells you what pages to look at for the answer. This was a common method in the early 90's to copy protect products. Some code in you manual, such as word from some page.

It will give you three chances, did you have that happen? Do you not have the manual? You can get a PDF of the manual or just the ships at:
