Eh, I just noticed that there is a comic book festival in Kemi, a nearby town, and I don't even have enough money for a bus ticket...
Damn bureaucrats messing my paycheck...
And the TFT-LCD I ordered a week ago arrived... Turned out to be prior model, without DVI and much of the stuff that swayed my decicion to the slightly more expencive model..

I just found out that, unless a few key people are feeling generous, I'm screwed as far as transfering down to UNLV for yet another year. I thought the deadline to submit my application was this Sunday the 15th, so I was already to mail (was was planning next-day delivery) all my stuff today. I called down there to ask what to send where and was told in short that I missed the boat back on February 1st.



Needless to say, I was completely blind-sided by this. Turns out that I needed to apply to the uni Feb. 1st and apply to the school of arch. by May 15th (though, was told they pushed it back to June 1st because of scheduling conflicts). I've an appointment to meet with the director on the 3rd of June to see about getting in. In the mean time, if I wish to continue pursuing this, I need to plead my case to some people to get into the uni then I can try for the school.

Another year stuck in Reno? This blows.

You did the right thing... They aren't normally sticklers about it if you are qualified, and they haven't filled up the classes. See what the dude says before getting all bummed.
