	Snoopimus II: Carthage!?! Get a bigger avatar today!

Apparently the Carthaginian foe have forgotten the beat-down we gave them a good many years ago, back in the time of Snoopimus I and his successors.

For, upon glancing at the map of my new Empire, I have seen the most vicious of sights!

Carthaginian Armies on Roman Soil !!!

Although the weak-minded Diplomatic Corps of the Carthaginian Foe may argue that their presence there is merely to protect us from the evil Macedonian threat that we are so easily handling, we aruge that the Carthaginians are at PEACE, yes, PEACE with said Macedonians; and that, to allow them to remain on our shores is the vilest of calumnies.

So, I ask the Senate... shall we allow this Carthaginian threat to remain? Shall we simply request they "leave", which shall simply place their army - not a large one compared to our own, of course, but yet not a small one by Carthaginian standards, and consisting of 8 galleys of unknown contents, and three heavy cavalries, and one numidian mercenary, near our shores but not quite on them; or shall we DECLARE WAR and rid the world of their stench, penalizing them adequately for their vile trespass?

It depends upon if Carthage is at war with Macedonians or not.
If they are, that force will surely head towards Macedonia and might kill a Macedonian or two. Low risk of it actually taking a city that should be ours.

But if Carthage is not at war with Macedonia, we're about to be sneaked attacked on their turn if we don't ask them to leave now. (Which would result in war now)

We do evenually need to go to war with Carthage again to take that city in Southern Ireland they founded, but could wait for them to found the other city site or two they are bound to found there first.

The Carthagians landed on Macedonian soil, It's just that the soil turned Roman before they had any chance to do anything. Diddnt you read my report?

I don't understand all that eagerness to attack Carthage. All throughout throughout the centuries several senators have been looking for reasons to start aggression towards Carthage. Strategically that's not a great plan as we all agree. There are enough enemies to be reached by land.

Well yes, except that the macedonians were at peace with them, unless it changed in that one turn, which I didn't notice ...

They want to join the fun against the Mac's, If we dont kill the Macs. Persia will.

Carthago want to excercise their troups, give them directions. Point them to Persia, which should protect our egyptan interests.
