Actions taken 1990bc:

last turn's swordsman unnamed, 332 down towards U2
Sword stack left in U2 - Dave Grohl is there also, didn't move him, do you want him in Beach Boys?
Worker Snoopy colonizes the Horses
Worker Rhoth roads the plains (why?)
Worker Platy roads the plains by Nirvana
Worker McMeadows mines the grassland by Beach Boys

AbbA is turned Vegetarian, and the cows donated to BC-52s. They now don't grow and get 10 shields.
Beach Boys now builds Catapults (11 turns, but it grows in 1)
U2 is going to make a Horseman next turn instead of a Swordsman, to placate Rhoth. (The Sword in AbbA is more useful, because it is a better defense against the risky warrior near BC52s.)

AbbA: 0 food, 10 shields, 3/6/1 trade (tax/sci/lux); 1 to Swordsman (20/30)
U2: 3 food (2 turns grow), 4 shields, 1/3/1 trade; 1 to Horseman (26/30)
Nirvana: 1 food (8 turns grow), 7 shields, 2/2/0 trade; 1 to Swordsman (24/30)
BC52s: 3 food (2 turns grow), 3 shields, 1/3/1 trade; 6 to spearman (3/20) (will be 5 turns when we MM it)
Metallica: 1 food (2 turns grow), 2 shields, 1/1/0 trade; 8 to spearman (4/20)
Beach Boys: 2 food (1 turn grow), 1 shield, 1/2/0 trade; 11 to catapult (9/20) (will be ~6 turns when it grows)

Suggestions for next turn:

* All cities produce swordsman for one more U2-production cycle (5 turns beyond). All meaning Nirvana, AbbA, U2.
* Beach Boys should put the second worker on the furs for now, so it gets the extra shield, and the catapult is done in time. If it can be at any time given the bonus grassland AbbA is currently using, that would be better, but sacrifice growth for shields for a few turns.
* Swordsman from AbbA should go into BC-52s, unless the DR warrior skips us. Either way, the new horseman should also go into BC-52s, to go chase the warrior around. There's plenty of time to do that and return for the actual stack departure. (Harry the warrior into either dieing if we have a clear shot on flat ground, or just running and running some more until it leaves our area.)

One note of caution: The military advisor warns us that the Zhou (a chinese barbarian tribe, appropriate ) are near Beach Boys. Probably north of it. I can't see any, but they're surely there, as we can see the south thanks to Rex.

One question I have already - why are we gaining gold? +5gpt is a lot, in a despotism. I'd probably rather be higher science, get to that next era faster ...

2 more turns and there's enough gold to upgrade the warrior that is fortyfied in AbbA. Money is no good for rushbuilding, but is for upgrading in despotism. We're amongst the tech leaders. Why hurry science? Especially while at war and with BOH going for currency and us for construction to complete the era.
