he was a truck driver... loved fast food.
never saw a lettuce that he would eat without
drowning it in thousand island dressing...
the only vegetables he would touch

mountains of potatoes..
but he wasn't a fat man... in fact...
he was very active.. skied, hiked, mt biked.

when we met
he was in the middle of building his house
i was still emotionally a wreck...
my husband had died 6 months before
after we dated for about 3 months .. he began falling behind
in his work on his house and i was just sort of a mess.
so we broke up...
now we are just friends....
he's asked me out a couple of times in the last few months... i said no...
since we dated ive had a lot of therapy and
i realized that he was another one of the same
kind of guy that i had always fallen for...
so this time i opted out

actually i think people have a hard time knowing what they want.. they just go around locked in a dance that was created while they were growing up. trying to find someone to work through those issues . and not really taking the time to know themselves and thus know what they want.

maybe we just go around bumping into people and
getting with those that trigger our mating smells.
