Not really -- the quality of human interaction and socialization that occurs when engaging in learning and studying history with students and colleagues cannot be replaced by artificial technology.



The furthest thing I can readily accept is online courses managed by a human instructor. But this also diminishes the human qualities that occur through learning, conversation, debate, and inquiry.

ive got B+ in the history course and B+/A- in microeconomics so far. theres 3 weeks left in the quarter. and then 5 week summer school in sd. and then more summer school in geneva. and then school again. ill finally get a break from christmas until march

next semester:
milton - 300 level
int. to shakespeare - 100 level

int. to film studies - 100 level

so yeah... basically I'm taking a really easy course load (aside from Milton) next sem...

Usually we do 4 subjects per semester but I did a summer course (Comparative sociology: the challenge of postmodernism) so I'm only doing three courses.

- Politics in Contemporary China
- Comparative European Politics
- Political Practice (basically an internship for political science students. I'm working at the Shadow Foreign minister's electorate office).
