Sihamoni was quoted before the fight stating that he felt since his fighters out-numbered the lion 42 to 1, that they “… could out-wit and out-muscle [it].” Unfortunately, he was wrong.

Hmmm.... they could try to send one out as bait and then jump it. If there is one thing I learned from Pikmin, it is that swarms of little guys can take down really big things if you are positioned correctly.

The Midget's best bet would be to send 10 of their own on a suicide mission to die. The Lion eats them, strips their corpses of flesh, and falls asleep. The remaining 32 Midgets take the bones(carefully!) and attempt to fashion weapons with them.

If they had weapons the lion wouldn't have a chance. They just need to move in from all directions at the same time with a slow steady pace, keeping their weapons between the lion and themselves at all times.

yeah unbelievable story, but then again in Cambodia, one had to think 'this might be actually true'. Crazy things happens in there anyway... the land of for G's (as the travelling show taught me): Guns, Girls, Ganja and Gambling. Anything can happen, if you have the money for it.

I think the midgets would win, but it would be close. It all depends on how many midgets are lost in the initial attacks. But even if half of the midgets are mauled, 21 midgets could still take the lion down. 15 midgets hold the lion down while the remaining 6 strangle it.
