I'm in Texas for the summer...I haven't been to one of these yet. I always miss the ones in Austin due to conflicting schedules. So lets set one up somewhere in Texas sometime this summer before August 14th.

sounds like a plan where in texas are you if close to sa or austin then tubes and i can do that since we are inbetween both towns. to bad u want to do it in august think bk will be in texas before then might be on way back to canada in august

just got wind of ben kenobis plan hell be in san antonio on 27th of this month next week actually. Not sure how long he said he was gonna be here think a couple weeks since hes riding bus down here. u pick date long as its on weekend tubes and me can do it If ben is still here we can pick him up and drag him along

Hmmm....I'm going to be in NY from the 28th to June 5th actually. That would have worked out well though. If he is in the next weekend though, it'd still be good.

any time after fifth of june is good s long as its weekend both of us work the weekdays close to ur bday on weekend might be good time

I live in Austin so you guys finalize a date and time and I'm sure I'll be there. David Floyd, Ramo, Wraith and me live in Austin and Lefty lives in San Antonio so I'm sure a few people might show up.

tubes mentioned that lefty did this before and had barbque at same time but that means the meet would have to be in san antone we are ok with austin or sa we live in between both

i already said cool time might be weekend before or after ur birthday so see if that works in ur schedule

Texas isn't real far from me, but I'd actually need some time off to go there.

And I don't have a big cowboy hat, boots, and huge belt buckle either. I'm pretty sure that's a requirement of some sort.

out of that assortment of clothing articles i only have the boots so im sure it aint required
Im not a good party planner so if any one has any ideas say them I aint up for picnic in heat if there aint body of water around like a lake or pool. Bar idea was out there since its apocs 21st bday

Barbeque, two days hence, Sunday May 29. 11AM to 9PM, at Scaevola's villa in San Antonio.
Brisket, Leg of lamb, sausage, chicken, Pork shoulder, pork ribs, the usual.

The lunch barbeque (sausage, chicken, and brisket) is now finishing in the wet smoker, You have never had smoked brisket as tender as I can get it (cured, dry smoked, then marinaded in cider and spice, then steam smoked). There will be potato salad (with mustard, green onions and celery) and cabbage (cooked in broth and cider, with corded beef, to go with lunch.
The first fire is built for the supper bargeque and will be lit off around noon (without brisket, it only takes about 6 hours).
It will be leg of lamb, pork shoulder and pork ribs, ssusage, with beans and slaw.
Shortly I will be charging the ice chests on the decks and by the pool.
