You can consider it unfunny. That does not chance my opinion. I feel it is funny enough to spend some money on. There is NOT one universally accepted standard for humor, fortunately.

Actually I was supposed to go see it with a friend of mine, but he was late because the train lost power earlier tonight. I went in, bought the ticket and waited for him inside to gave it to him when he showed up because he was more interested int he movie and it was sold out...

Well, you can get a decent first impression from most trailers.
For me trailers are a way to find out do I want to see the entire movie or not.
