	Do you recognize this faction set? Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Searching for a image on the internet I came across these screenshots. I don't recognize the custom set, and I did a quicky look at the networknode but I haven't recognized anything (but it is entirely possible I missed it). As I have no time to devote it to this somewhat trivial matter I would be grateful if someone would satisfy my curiosity and inform me about this custom factions:

Not a clue, but those are some good custom graphics.

Where'd you find that? I'm always interested to see surviving SMAC communities.

Yes, those are some pretty good graphics, consdiering the most of custom graphics I've seen was stolen from Starcraft. It was not exactly a community but a personal page -> screnshoots are from here

Googling on some of the faction names in the screen shots showed that this is the "second mission" faction set, available from networknode.org

If you look at those pictures, that's a pretty high resolution in-game. I wonder if that's the Linux port, especially considering the overlayed chat windows.

I have seen that one whose F1 video features a flying base with those curved things going down to surface of Planet.

I used to have them. Their starting tech is Eth Calc and they have Aero Complexes free from the very start and they're from NetworkNode, yes but I can't tell you the name of the set..

I do recognize some of these factions, they could be factions of the networknode, if I have seen correctly, those base names sound familiar and also the images stolen from starcraft are indeed familiar.

EDIT:
I have looked over all factions of networknode, they are indeed not among them.
Maybe these factions come from a sepcialized set (I read second mission stated above).

Sorry I can't be more helpful at this time.
