I AM GRADUATING!!!!

No longer will I be a slave to the bell system and the homework load of High School. Now on to the same hting in COllege, and from there on to becoming a WAGE SLAVE!!!!!

I am really friggin elated right now! No more pencils, no more books, no more teacher's dirty loooooooks SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER! SCHOOL'S OUT FOR EVER!

So tomorrow I walk and get my diploma thingy and to celebrate, my friend and I are going to smoke a cigar together, and then probably drink but not in such a public place where parents and police may take offense.

I've got some Captain Morgan in me.

What did you do, or do you plan on doing when you graduate(d)?

Congrats...

Graduation week everyone (about 130 of us...that's all there was) gathered on the lawn of the high school in tents drinking and smoking pot and the cops protected us because we had three kids of cops graduating with us.

It was awesome

What are your plans for next year?

Your grad party sounds awesome. I wish ours was that cool. I htink we get a free massage and some ice sculptures.

As for the future I am going ot Southern Oregon University, and I'm going to study Technical Theater, and Psychology. I don't know about majors yet. I may go double.

Thankyou. I love and respect the field very much. I've been doing tech nad acting since sixth grade so I know I love it.

This is something that I do realize, but Right now is three months of vacation and I feel free.

Its going to be hard to go from having three mohts of freedom per year to having 2 weeks.

You're not free, you are in denial. I'd hate to plant this thought in your head but thinking about what happens after the vacation is going to ruin most of the vacation for you. Reality sucks, especially if it hits you like a truck.

it's not all bad.

One of the good things is work gives you money. And you can do lots of things with money. In ways, work gives you more capacity to do more things in life because you actually have money to do it.

HS introduces you to life, and it is totally insane. A good introduction for work and society in fact. Just remember it's a little ball circleing an obscure star in an unfashionable spiral arm of a rather dull galaxy, and you'll retain some small grasp on reality.

I like to try to make it a good day, not have one.
Assuming an active role in your life and admitting your responsibility cna really lead to some satisfying moments regardless of your situation.

I like Aristotle's thing about how happiness is a way of approaching all things that you do in life.

Either way, the world may be harsh and impossible ot change. However I can still change myself and thus - I - have the power to make life not suck.

Either way, I'm gonna go walk and get my diploma in about two hours now.

I have my cigar all nice and ready. Its a Macanudo. 8$, the most money I've ever spent on a cigar. But four years is the msot time I've spent working toward one goal in my life.

Nice. I once bought a box of Cubans over in the middle east 20 years ago. Got the most expensive ones in the store (wrapped and in their own individual aluminum tubes). Surprisingly enough, I managed to get them into the country legally and passed them out to my family.

Sorry if I've been a bit of a downer, it comes with experience. Life is what you make of it. Don't set your short term goals too high.
