Really, Che? I thought it started as a story about a missing girl. She could have been abducted by vacationing white frat boys for all I care. Who she was allegedly kidnapped by is far less important than the plain fact that she is missing and quite probably dead, and whatever good reason you think you may have for mocking her, it still makes you an asshole.

I'm not mocking her at all. I'm mocking the media for elevating this to a major national story, precisely for the reasons I mentioned. What happened to her sucks, but it's not like it's all that uncommon, here or abroad. The only reason we know anything about her is cuz she's a cute little white girl.

I think that the guys they're questionning are Dutch and white.

I am sorry, I don;t know her, her family, her state even, never been to Aruba (specially not on high school trips), so while I can empathize somewhat, I really don;t feel **** about this story, and thus why should I uphold some fake sense of tact to people who, well, are never EVER going to come looking here in Poly???
